	The Applied English Center at the University of Kansas is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation for the period December 2007 through December 2017 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a reliable authority concerning the quality of education or training offered by the English language institutions and programs it accredits.
	The Applied English Center at the University of Kansas is proud to be a member of UCIEP, a consortium of university and college intensive English programs. All programs in this consortium have met high standards to ensure that students receive the most advanced methods of intensive English instruction from trained, professional instructors.
