As you already know, I am from Haiti, but that's not all of it. I am a music major and also a singer. I sing with some friends of mine and we have a male singing group named "Meli Melomane". We sing all kinds of classic music, and I am proud to say that I was an AEC student.

I am graduating this Fall 2002 with two majors: a degree in Economics and a degree in Geography, both degrees with an emphasis in Environmental Studies. Planning to going back to South America after graduation or elsewhere. I am applying for a Master in Environmental Economics in England next year.

I was born in Argentina and lived many years in Venezuela. I still miss KU. The English program was awesome. Immediately after the English program I was hired to translate a book (in Venezuela) I knew no English when I arrived. I have gotten a few articles published. I won a National Writers Digest prize for my short story, Ricky On social Security, The South American Explorers sells my cookbook "Legends and Recipes of my Far Away Lands" and I am writing a book on the prayers and hopes of South America and the world. I am glad to be included in KU community. During the preacademic program sponsored by the Fulbright Program in June and August 2003, I had a wonderful time with KU faculty, peer mentors and staff, and my dear interational peers. I love Kansas University. It is located in a nice campus. I have had wonderful experience while stuyding here even it was only one semester. Ann Burgess is an excellent English teacher. I have made many good friends. I miss them all. This campus really makes a good place to study for pupils all around the world.
