Tuition and Costs

The tuition and fees listed below include nonresident tuition for full-time students and campus privilege fees. Tuition may vary for students enrolled in academic courses. Room and meals include rent for a shared double room and food for the period (excluding vacations). Personal expenses vary greatly. Health insurance is required for all international students.

Classes begin	June 3, 2009
Exams end	July 25, 2009

Fall Semester 2009 (16 Weeks)

Classes begin	August 21, 2009
Exams end	December 19, 2008

First semester additional costs:
KU photo ID card $10.
One-week International Student Orientation with housing $165
or One-week International Student Orientation without housing $75
or One-day International Student Check-in $35
(Orientation is not available in summer. All new students in Summer do the one-day International Student Check-in.

*Room and meals include a shared double room and full meal plan. Other meal plan options are available at a lower cost.
**Health insurance is required. Students who already have adequate coverage may obtain a waiver for the insurance charge.
