The Applied English Center at the University of Kansas welcomes
short-term program students from Meikai University in Japan for three weeks each March. These students
- study English language and American culture,
- go on field trips,
- interact with native-speaker conversation leaders, and
- have many experiences on campus and in the community.
In this program, students improve their language skills and learn what it is like to live on an American university
campus and in a midwestern community.
