WHO ENROLLS

Academic English is for students who are not in the USA. We can help you improve your writing (content, organization and grammar) through this online course while you live in your home country! The Applied English Center has over 10 years’ experience in teaching students writing online, and we see a lot of progress in our students’ writing ability. The instructor has been teaching online courses since 2000 and is a recognized leader in the field of technology in education for ESL students.

OVERVIEW

Academic English: Part 1 is an 8-week online course for intermediate to advanced students. All instruction is online. It helps prepare you for college writing assignments. Each week your assignments will review both grammar and writing skills. The instructor will tutor each student to improve his skills. All assignments and instructor’s responses will be through email.

Academic English: Part 2 is a continuation of the first course. Students who wish to continue practicing the skills learned during the first eight weeks while learning new ones may enroll in the second 8-week course

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS

Students will receive a full refund minus $30 processing fee if they notify their instructor by email of their withdrawal by the second day of class. There is no refund for withdrawals after the second day.
